Call Recording Instructions for Staff

Requesting Call Recording Access

To enable call recording, staff must first request that the feature be turned on for their profile.

  1. Email techsupport@pbsd.net to request call recording access.

  2. Once the request has been approved, the recording option will be available on your phone during calls.


Recording a Call

Start Recording

  1. While on a call, select Record from the screen menu.

  2. If you do not see Record at the bottom of the screen, press the Softkey (Soft) button until Record appears.

  3. Select Record to begin recording the call.

  4. The system will announce that the call is being recorded.


Stop Recording

  1. When you want to stop the recording, press the Softkey (four dots) button until you see Stop Recording.

  2. Select Stop Recording.

  3. The system will announce that the recording has ended.


Accessing Your Recordings

  1. Go to: https://settings.webex.com/

  2. Enter your school email address.

  3. You will be redirected to the Google sign-in page.

  4. Sign in using your PBSd Google credentials.

  5. You will be taken to the Webex User Hub.

Viewing Your Recordings

  1. Click Recordings.

  2. You will see a list of calls you have recorded.

From here you can:

  • Play the recording

  • Download the recording

  • Delete the recording
