Student Password Formats – Grades K–12
Overview
Plum Borough School District student password formats are based on the student's current grade level. Use the information below to determine the expected password format.
Student Password Formats
| Grade Level | Password Format | How It Works |
|---|---|---|
| Kindergarten–Grade 1 | PBsd@studentID | Uses PBsd@ followed by the student's full Student ID. |
| Grades 2–4 | PBsd@MMDD | Uses PBsd@ followed by the student's two-digit birth month and two-digit birth day. |
| End of Grade 4 | PBsd@studentID | Student passwords are reset to PBsd@ followed by the student's full Student ID. |
| Grades 5–7 | PBsd@last4StudentID | Uses PBsd@ followed by the last four digits of the student's Student ID. |
| Grades 8–12 | PBsd@Lunchcode | Uses PBsd@ followed by the student's lunch code. |

Grades 2–4
Student Birthdate: March 8

Grades 5–7
Student ID: 123456

How to Find a Student ID
If a student or family does not know the student's Student ID, follow the instructions in the PBSD Technology Knowledge Base:

Grade 4 Password Transition: At the end of Grade 4, student passwords are reset to PBsd@ followed by the student's full Student ID.
Password Issues
If a student is unable to sign in after verifying the correct password format, contact PBSD Technology Support at techsupport@pbsd.net .
When requesting assistance, include:
- Student name
- Grade level
- School
- Student ID, if available
- A brief description of the login issue
Important: Do not include the student's current password in a Technology Support request.
