End-User Remote Assistance with Zoho: Staff Macbook/Windows

The PBSD Technology Department uses Zoho to assist you remotely when you encounter technical issues. Follow the steps below to ensure Zoho is properly installed and configured on your MacBook.


Checking for Zoho on Your MacBook

  1. Look for the Zoho icon in the top icon tray of your MacBook. It resembles the icon shown below:

  2. If the Zoho icon is present, proceed to enable Screen & System Audio Recording:

    • Open System Settings.

    • Navigate to Privacy & Security on the left-hand menu.

    • Scroll down and select Screen & System Audio Recording.

    • Locate Zoho in the list and ensure it is toggled on (the toggle should be blue).


This will enable the PBSD Technology Department to assist you remotely when needed.

Installing Zoho on Your MacBook

If the Zoho icon is not present, follow these steps to install it:

  1. Click the search magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner of your MacBook.

  2. Search for Mosyle Manager and open the application.

  3. In Mosyle Manager, click Self Service and then navigate to My Apps.

  4. Locate the app named APP-Zoho Unattended and click Install.


Once the installation is complete:

  • Open System Settings.

  • Navigate to Privacy & Security on the left-hand menu.

  • Scroll down and select Screen & System Audio Recording.

  • Ensure Zoho is toggled on (the toggle should be blue).


This step ensures the PBSD Technology Department can assist you with any IT-related issues remotely.
