If you send a document to a district Xerox printer but your print job does not appear or release, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
One common cause is an incorrect paper size selected in the print settings.
These instructions apply to staff printing through the district's PBSD_Xerox_MFP printer connection.
Make sure your computer is connected to the appropriate district network.
Step 1: Check Printer Availability
- Open the document you want to print.
- Open the application's Print menu.
- Confirm that PBSD_Xerox_MFP appears in the list of available printers.
- If the printer is not listed, shut down your computer and sign in again after restarting.
- Return to the Print menu and check whether PBSD_Xerox_MFP is available.
If PBSD_Xerox_MFP does not appear after restarting, contact techsupport@pbsd.net for assistance.
Step 2: Verify the Paper Size
If you can select PBSD_Xerox_MFP but your print job is not releasing, check the paper size selected in the print settings.
- Open the Print menu for your document.
- Select PBSD_Xerox_MFP.
- Locate the Paper Size setting.
- Select Letter as the paper size.
- Review the remaining settings before printing.
For this PBSD printing procedure, always select Letter. An incorrect paper size may prevent the print job from releasing.
Use the screenshot below to locate the paper size setting.

Step 3: Confirm Your Print Settings
After selecting Letter, review your print settings. The screenshot below shows the expected configuration from the original PBSD instructions.
Compare your settings with the example below.

Step 4: Try Printing Again
- Confirm that PBSD_Xerox_MFP is selected.
- Verify that the paper size is set to Letter.
- Submit the print job again.
- Check whether the job appears and releases at the printer.
Still Having Trouble?
