Overview
Screencastify is a screen recording and video creation tool available to PBSD staff and students. It can be used to record instructional or reflective videos, annotate screens, edit recordings, and share video content through Google Drive or Google Classroom.
Screencastify is covered by a district-wide license for PBSD users, so no manual license assignment is required.

How to Access
- Go to Screencastify .
- Select Sign in.
- Sign in using your PBSD Google account.
- Screencastify will automatically recognize your PBSD account and activate the district license.
Login Information: Teachers, staff, and students should sign in using their PBSD Google account. No manual license request is required.

Common Issues
Unable to Sign In
- Verify that you are using your PBSD Google account.
- Confirm that your account ends in @pbsd.net.
- Sign out of personal Google accounts and try again.
- Close and reopen Google Chrome before attempting to sign in again.
District License Does Not Appear
- Verify that you signed in with your PBSD Google account.
- Sign out of Screencastify and sign back in.
- If district access is still not recognized, contact Technology Support.
Important: The district license is automatically applied when you sign in using an eligible PBSD Google account. A separate license request is not required.
