How to Check Your Assets in IncidentIQ: PBSD Instructions

At PBSD, we’ve made it easier for teachers to view their own assets, track their students' assets, and search through our asset system using IncidentIQ. We’ve created accounts for each of you to access this feature, allowing you to quickly check and manage the assets assigned to you and your students.

Follow the simple instructions below to get started with checking your assets in IncidentIQ.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Check Your Assets in IncidentIQ

1. Go to the IncidentIQ Login Page

  • Open your preferred web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
  • In the address bar, type the URL for the IncidentIQ portal:
https://incidentiq.com (or your district's specific IncidentIQ URL, if provided).

2. Log In Using Your PBSD Account

  • Use Google SSO

3. Access Your Assets Dashboard

  • After logging in, you’ll be directed to your assets dashboard. Here, you can view and manage the assets assigned to you, such as:
    • Your Own Assets: View all the devices and equipment assigned to you, including laptops, tablets, projectors, etc.
    • Your Students' Assets: Check the devices and equipment assigned to your students for classroom use.
    • Search Assets: If you need to find a specific asset or check its status, you can use the search function to locate it by serial number, device type, or asset tag.

4. View and Manage Your Assets

  • On your dashboard, you will see a list of your assigned assets. The asset details will include:
    • Asset Name/Type (e.g., Laptop, Chromebook)
    • Serial Number
    • Condition
    • Current Status (e.g., In Use, In Repair)
    • Assigned Student (if applicable)
  • If you want more details about an asset, simply click on the asset to view more information.

5. Check Students' Assets

  • In addition to your own assets, you can now view the assets assigned to your students. This feature is particularly helpful for tracking classroom technology or devices.
  • You will be able to see which devices have been assigned to your students and whether they are in good condition, need repairs, or are overdue for return.

6. Use the Asset Search Feature

  • If you're looking for a specific asset or need to track multiple devices, you can use the search bar at the top of the dashboard.
  • Enter keywords such as asset type, serial number, or student name to narrow down your results. This feature is helpful for large classrooms or when managing multiple devices.

7. Report Issues or Request Support

  • If you encounter any issues with your assets, need repairs, or have other questions, you can easily submit a ticket through IncidentIQ.
  • On your dashboard, look for the option to “Submit a Ticket” to techsupport@pbsd.net
