Printing from an iPad Using PaperCut

Overview

Follow the steps below to print from your iPad using PaperCut. Please note:

  • Double-sided printing issue: Turn off double-sided printing before printing from an iPad.
  • Paper size: Ensure the paper size is set to Letter before printing.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Download the PaperCut Mobility Print Profile

  2. Install the Mobility Print Profile

    • Go to your iPad’s settings: Settings > General > Profile > PaperCut Mobility Print for iOS.
    • Tap Install.
    • If your iPad has a passcode, enter it when prompted.
    • Tap Install again and then Done once the installation is complete.
  3. Print Your Document

    • Open the app or browser containing the document you want to print.

    • Tap the Share icon (the square with an upward arrow) and select Print.

    • Choose a printer from the list.

      • For Xerox machines, select PBSD_Xerox_MFP.
    • Enter your username and password:

      • Use your email credentials (without @pbsd.net in the username).
    • Tap Print.

  4. Note: You may need to enter your credentials again for security purposes.

  5. Release Your Print Job

    • Go to the printer and scan your badge to retrieve your print job.
    • Alternatively, log in to the PaperCut portal at http://papercut.pbsd.net:9191/userto:
      • View pending print jobs.
      • Review recently printed jobs.
