Overview

CodeHS is an online learning platform used for computer science and coding instruction. Teachers and students can sign in using their PBSD Google account and access the courses and resources available to them.

How to Access

  1. Go to the  CodeHS Website .
  2. Select Sign In.
  3. Select Sign in with Google.
  4. Sign in using your PBSD Google account.

Login Information: Teachers and students should use their PBSD Google account when signing in to CodeHS.

First-Time Account Setup

The first time you sign in, CodeHS may ask you to complete the account setup process.

Students

  1. Select Student.
  2. Enter the class or enrollment code provided by your teacher.
  3. Complete any required account information.
  4. Select Create Account.

Teachers

  1. Select Teacher.
  2. Choose the teaching experience or setup path that applies to you.
  3. Complete the required account information.
  4. Select Create Account.

Tip: Students should have their teacher-provided class code available before completing first-time setup.

Common Issues

Unable to Sign In

  • Verify that you selected Sign in with Google.
  • Confirm that you are using your PBSD Google account.
  • Sign out of any personal Google accounts and try again.

Student Cannot Join a Class

  • Verify that the class code was entered correctly.
  • Confirm that the student is using the PBSD Google account intended for the class.
  • Ask the teacher to verify that the class code is still valid.

Important: Students should use the class code provided by their teacher and should not create duplicate CodeHS accounts.
