Overview

Gizmos by ExploreLearning provides interactive learning resources for teachers and students. At Plum Borough School District, teachers and students access Gizmos through the PBSD Clever Portal.

How to Access

Go to the PBSD Clever Portal .
Select Log in with Google.
Sign in using your PBSD Google account if prompted.
From the Clever dashboard, scroll through your available applications until you locate Gizmos (ExploreLearning).
Select the Gizmos (ExploreLearning) icon to launch the application.

Login Information: Teachers and students should access Gizmos through the PBSD Clever Portal using their PBSD Google account.

Teacher Resources

ExploreLearning provides additional resources to help teachers learn how to use Gizmos and incorporate them into classroom instruction.

Gizmos Teacher Resource Hub

The Gizmos Teacher Resource Hub provides how-to videos and downloadable guides to help teachers get started and use Gizmos effectively.

Gizmos Adventurer Basecamp

Gizmos Adventurer Basecamp is a professional learning community for Gizmos subscribers where educators can share ideas, learn from one another, and grow their use of Gizmos.

Tip: Teachers can use the Gizmos Teacher Resource Hub and Adventurer Basecamp for additional training, instructional ideas, and professional learning resources.

Common Issues

Gizmos Does Not Appear in Clever

Verify that you are signed in to Clever using your PBSD Google account.
Scroll through all applications available on your Clever dashboard and look for Gizmos (ExploreLearning).
If Gizmos is still not available, contact Technology Support.

Unable to Access Gizmos

Verify that you are using your PBSD Google account.
Sign out of Clever and close your browser.
Reopen the PBSD Clever Portal and sign in again.
Launch Gizmos (ExploreLearning) from the Clever dashboard.

Important: Access to Gizmos may depend on the classes, courses, or application access assigned to your account.
