IXL – Teachers & Students

Overview

IXL is an online learning platform that provides personalized practice and skill development in Mathematics and English Language Arts. Plum Borough School District provides IXL for eligible Kindergarten through 6th grade teachers and students through Clever.

How to Access

  1. Request access by emailing techsupport@pbsd.net.
  2. For your initial login, visit the IXL Sign In page and select Sign in with Clever.
  3. After your first login, access IXL directly through the PBSD Clever Portal.
  4. Select the IXL icon to launch the application.

Login Information: Teachers and students should access IXL through Clever using their PBSD Google account. The initial login must be completed using the Sign in with Clever option on the IXL website.

Access Requirements

IXL is available for eligible Kindergarten through 6th grade teachers and students for Mathematics and English Language Arts. Teachers must request access before using IXL.

  1. Email techsupport@pbsd.net to request access.
  2. Include the class or course you need access to in your request.
  3. The Technology Department will configure your class in Clever and complete the licensing process before access is available.

Tip: Including your class or course information in your access request helps Technology process your request more quickly.

Common Issues

I Don't See My Class or Students

  • Verify that you requested access through Technology Support.
  • Confirm that you included the correct class or course in your request.
  • Launch IXL through Clever.

Important: Teacher access is not automatic. Technology must configure your class in Clever and complete the licensing process before IXL becomes available.
